• Whether you want to do something to move your career along, or change it all together, or do something just for enjoyment.  Why not start looking.  Time will pass whether you do something with it or not

• Take advantage of work training on offer, you can always learn something, even if it is never to go again

​

• Learn with a friend, motivate each other, unless you both end up in the pub, but even then you could do the pub quiz!

• Forget about using excuses like lack of time and money.  Many courses can be completed on line and in your own time.  There are many free courses out there also.  If you work for a large organisation chances are they will have in house training, take advantage of this, getting a new skill under your belt or develop an existing one

• If you have itchy feet now is the time to polish up you CV.  I try to keep an ongoing one, otherwise it can be a nightmare starting from scratch each time.  There are organisations and websites where you can get help or free templates to start the process

​

If some of you are procrastinating, well what can I say, if not now then when?
